72 hours in Kyoto | Photo Essay

April 20, 2020

There’s not much to say about Kyoto that hasn’t already been said. And under the circumastances, it’s hard to offer a well-rounded opinion. However, I can say that the city oozes style from every corner. From the narrow streets of Gion to the temples of Higashiyama, everything has a truly authentic feel to it.

We were unlucky (lucky) to be in Kyoto recently, just before the Covid-19 lockdown, meaning that there were far fewer tourists than normal at this time of year- sakura season.

From Kyoto, we quickly travelled to Tokyo in order to fly back to the UK, but not before testing out a new messenger bag from Chrome Industries.

Below is a series of images taken during our short time in Kyoto. Safe to say I’ll be back!
