The Swedish outdoor brand enters the autumn months with a new collection of transitional pieces, designed to be worn between activities or casually. Having developed a distinctive aesthetic, and by result, a dedicated following, this new range is everything you’d expect from the climbing mouse.
Since 1975, Klättermusen have made high quality, technical mountain equipment fit for harsh Scandinavian conditions. And this approach to functionality, together with a healthy dose of minimal design is clear to see.
The 8-piece collection includes a lightweight down jacket (Brokk Light Down Jacket), technical trousers (Hjuke Pants) and a zip fleece (Arngrim Zip). All the pieces in this new collections are made from sustainable, natural materials of the highest quality. Merino wool, organic cotton and Tencel are used throughout for their durability, natural wicking properties and sustainability.
Speaking about the new collection, CEO Gonz Ferrero says; “With Off The Mountain® we have conceptualised and created technical products for transitioning between mountain activities. The collection is not about trend, but rather a natural extension of our development process. We spent time to understand the needs of mountaineers when in transit, which is not lesser or simpler than the performance needed for alpinism or trekking. Our attention to detail, work on constructions and minimal impact on nature is equal, a process supported by almost 50 years of product development capabilities.”
